Logo Philosophy
- Six pages of a book symbolize the six articles of faith (rukun iman) in Islam. This signifies that every member of the GDA academic community should be a pious Muslim, guided by the Qur’an and the Hadith (affective domain).
- A golden pen represents the dignity and prosperity that can be achieved through knowledge. This signifies that every member of the GDA academic community should be a lifelong learner (cognitive domain).
- A blue globe represents the universe. This signifies that members of the GDA community should contribute to the welfare of humanity and the environment (rahmatan lil ‘alamin) as global citizens and strive to become leaders with global competitiveness (psychomotor domain).
- The blue color symbolizes trust, tranquility, stability, and professionalism. This signifies that members of the GDA community should possess self-confidence, a balanced life purpose between worldly and spiritual aims, and high levels of skill, knowledge, and work ethic.
- Five rice stalks on each side symbolize the five pillars of Islam as well as fertility, prosperity, and life. This signifies that the Islamic values embraced by the GDA community should be oriented toward promoting the prosperity of the nation and the world (affective domain).
- A dove with outstretched wings symbolizes peace, love, and fidelity. This signifies that members of the GDA community should prioritize a spirit of peace in problem-solving and uphold love and loyalty to the homeland (psychomotor domain).
