This spirit is the animating force behind every step at Global Darussalam Academy. Rooted in Faith signifies that GDA’s entire educational process is firmly grounded in Islamic values. Faith becomes the foundation that strengthens character, shapes moral conduct, and guides each student in life’s decisions. From this root grows a resilient individual of integrity, able to face contemporary challenges with wisdom and composure.
Reaching Beyond, on the other hand, reflects the aspiration to overcome personal limits, broaden perspectives, and seize opportunities on the global stage. GDA fosters the courage to dream ambitiously, to explore personal potential, and to make meaningful contributions to the world without ever losing sight of the values they hold dear.

Darsa the Dove
Darsa The Dove is the school’s official mascot, the face and spirit of Global Darussalam Academy. Its name derives from the Arabic root دَرَسَ (darasa), meaning “to study,” an identity that reflects GDA’s commitment to lifelong learning. Portrayed as a white dove, Darsa symbolizes purity of intention, serenity of heart, and steadfastness of purpose.
Clutching a golden pen in its wing, Darsa represents knowledge, distinction, creativity, and the hopes to be written into the future. Its neck is wrapped in a blue scarf patterned with Islamic geometric motifs, blending the school’s traditional faith-based roots with a broad global outlook. A small satchel hangs from its shoulder, an emblem of readiness to journey to explore, and to carry home wisdom from every experience.
As a dove, Darsa conveys the message that strong faith is the foundation for soaring high. It embodies the belief that becoming a global leader does not require abandoning one’s roots; rather, it demands standing firmly upon them. With eyes set in determination, Darsa invites every GDA student to root themselves in faith and to fly beyond limits, reaching wide horizons while spreading benefit for religion, nation, and the world.
